Drug free!!

I’m a bit late in posting this, but I am officially drug free!!! After sampling much of what the pharmacist had to offer regarding “pain control” it is all over. For those who do not know I have been on Oxycodone, Oxycontin, Cymbalta (nerve pain), Methadone (when the Oxyconton wasn't strong enough), & the maximum dose of Gabapentin allowed. To say that the local pharmacist loves me is an understatement. I think we have put their son through college at this point.

I still get shooting pains now and then, but they are slowly becoming less and less. The challenge is still to rehab my toes and ankle. The progress isn’t coming as quickly as I was once seeing, but there is still some to be had. They say that one year is about the max amount of time that you have to regain flexibility. We are at about 7 months now so there is still time, but the returns are definitely diminishing.
